The 2022 GT-R NISMO Special Edition is the limited, track-led apex of the R35 line: a hand-built 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6, 600 bhp, AWD and a six-speed dual-clutch transaxle. Its exposed carbon-fibre hood, red-accent forged wheels and tighter-tolerance engine internals distinguish a focused collector edition.
The 620R is McLaren’s uncompromising Sports Series finale: a road-legal 570S GT4 interpretation with a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8, carbon-ceramic brakes, adjustable race-bred aero and suspension, and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Its 225-car production makes it a collector-grade track special.
The 2015 675LT revived McLaren’s Longtail idea as a harder-edged, limited-run evolution of the 650S. Its 666-bhp twin-turbo V8, 100 kg weight saving, sharper chassis and revised aero delivered track-day intensity without abandoning road legality; only 500 coupes were built.
The 600LT is the sharpened Longtail expression of McLaren’s Sports Series: a carbon-fibre, rear-drive coupe with a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8, top-exit exhaust and fixed aero designed for track-day precision. Its 592 bhp and 2.8-second 0–60 mph run make the 2019 coupe a distinctly focused modern McLaren special.
The 2020 McLaren 620R is a road-legal expression of the 570S GT4: a two-seat, rear-drive coupé with a twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8, carbon-ceramic brakes, race-derived aerodynamics and adjustable track hardware. Its limited run and single-minded circuit brief make it a proper track-focused special.
Ferrari’s 296 Speciale is the sharper, lighter, rear-drive special-series evolution of the 296, pairing a twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 with an electric motor. Track-derived hardware, 435 kg of Ferrari-claimed downforce at 250 km/h, and a special-version mandate make it a compelling modern track-focused Ferrari rather than a replacement for the standard 296.
The Chiron Pur Sport is Bugatti’s 60-car, road-going handling special: a lighter, higher-downforce Chiron with firmer chassis tuning, a fixed rear wing, bespoke Michelin Sport Cup 2 R tyres and closer gearing. Its quad-turbo W16 retains 1,479 bhp, while the recalibration prioritizes immediacy and cornering over ultimate top speed.
The Huayra BC is Pagani’s 2016, road-going but track-day-oriented evolution of the Huayra Coupé, created in tribute to Benny Caiola. Pagani specifies a 5,980 cc Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo V12, rear-wheel drive and a seven-speed automated manual. The performance record remains intentionally incomplete rather than converting non-comparable acceleration figures.
The 2024 Aston Martin Valiant is a 38-car, Q by Aston Martin special developed from Fernando Alonso’s commission for a more extreme, track-focused Valour. Its 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 sends 735 hp to the rear wheels through a bespoke six-speed manual, while carbon-fibre bodywork and a half-cage underscore its road-legal track intent.
The 2016 McLaren 675LT is a two-seat, rear-wheel-drive Longtail coupe built around a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 and a seven-speed twin-clutch automatic. Its lightweight, carbon-intensive, track-oriented formula and limited 500-coupe run make it a focused McLaren special rather than a conventional series-production supercar.
